Charity Event!

Wednesday March 11th there was a charity event held at Moody Blues.  The fashion show launched Eric Byrnes new clothing line that will be sold in the fall. A portion of all that was purchased that night was donated to the Pat Tillman Foundation. At this event I was helping out one of the sponsors who is one of J Groups clients.  This client is a jewelry store who was one of the sponsors and I helped them set up their booth at the event and then promoted for them.  I wore one of their Haimov watches which was $20,000 all night long while at the function.  Displaying this diamond watch I would talk about it if anyone asked me about it and I went around getting people to sign up for a raffle that was a $1000 certificate to this jewelry store.  When people would sign up I would ask them what type of watch they prefer and wrote it on the back of the ticket. This way the jewelry store has somewhat of an idea about what that customer liked.  The event went very well and the fashion show was very well put together a long with the music done by DJ Fashen.  I was able to network at this event and I enjoyed wearing an expensive diamond watch!

  1. That sound like a great event, I would have been so nervous wearing that watch... constantly checking to make sure I still had it on!

So the company you are interning for... do they basically hire out their employees for event promotions? I think I'm a bit confused on what you do. Sorry.

  3. Promoting is the great way to get more sales. It must of been amazing to wear a $20,000 piece of jewelry! I'm really glad that the charity is for the Pat Tillman Foundation because I volunteered for that event last year and it was an amazing event to work at.
